Reception, shop and café

The entrance to the Museum building leads directly into our reception, shop and café. You can visit the shop and café without buying a ticket to the exhibition.

Exhibition

The exhibition starts on the upper ground floor in a large hall with an immersive video and audio introduction to Roman Leicester. This exhibition shows every 15 minutes, so each ticket has a specific entry time. The multi-media exhibition then continues on the lower ground floor accessible via a lift and stairs.

Roman bath site

Visitors to the exhibition can also walk onto the Roman bath site from the lower ground floor exhibition hall. The Jewry Wall itself is an original piece of Roman masonry, but other stonework on the site is modern and representative of the structure of the baths.

Meeting and Learning rooms

Our East Wing is home to a unique range of meeting rooms available to hire. Our learning rooms are perfect for school and community activities and they all have wonderful views of the Roman bath site.

Venue Hire

Our multi-media hall and café are also available to hire for bespoke evening events.
